LITERARIUM EXTRA

At Müpa Budapest, one of the most productive and creative artistic pairings in contemporary Hungarian culture will present a brand new show. This world premiere is underpinned by the experiences of their early, highly successful collaborations, yet promises to be an utterly new production, packed full of surprises.

The new show from Grecsó & Hrutka Band will not be breaking with the tried-and-tested formula – as before, the show will by a mix of a concert performance and reading theatre. The content is new, however, featuring an encounter between orchestral poetic montages, new Grecsó prose writings and instrumental music, not to mention new songs and sung verses. Time Vessel is an exploration of self-knowledge, with a bittersweet appraisal of youth and self-deprecating nostalgia. This is a thematic performance, yet one made up of independent writings and songs, and one that is open towards all forms of art.
