Platinum level members of the Müpa+ membership programme can buy tickets for the event on 29 September from 10 am, at the Gold level on 30 September from 10 am, and at the Silver level on 1 October from 10 am. Basic level members, as well as members of the general public will get the opportunity to purchase tickets from 10 am on 2 October.

Parables of magic and morality. This is the essence of French Baroque opera, which the genre presented in closed forms – orchestral movements, arias, and dances – by means that are both pictorial and thought-provoking. Rameau retells the story of the statue that comes to life and of the artist who falls in love with his own creation through elegant arias, choruses and invigorating dances; it is little wonder that the “dance opera” of barely three-quarters of an hour immediately became a favourite with the public after its 1748 premiere. The garland (La guirlande) symbolising fidelity is, by contrast, a pastoral in which a series of misunderstandings, trials and reconciliations leads to a happy ending, while Rameau demonstrates with infinite refinement that French Baroque musical theatre can not only be celebratory, but also truly witty.
