It is not every day that you get to take organ lessons from expert teachers and two instruments have been made available to anyone wishing to try their hand making music on occasion of the 24-hour organ festival. The small organ set up in the Festival Space invites visitors to learn the fundamental techniques of playing the instrument, while the organ simulator makes it possible to experience the sound of Bach’s organ in Arnstadt. The following young organists familiar from Bach Nacht and Gallery Concerts will be on hand to help: Mária Palkovics, Zsuzsa Németh, Rajmund Kun, and János Túri-Nagy.
You can register for the lessons at the information desk inside the venue.
