Platinum level members of the Müpa+ membership programme can buy tickets for the event on 29 September from 10 am, at the Gold level on 30 September from 10 am, and at the Silver level on 1 October from 10 am. Basic level members, as well as members of the general public will get the opportunity to purchase tickets from 10 am on 2 October.

The Belgian conductor Philippe Herreweghe is a defining figure in the historically informed performance of early music. His exceptional sensitivity as an artist is shown by the fact that, even at a young age, he earned the recognition of such fellow musicians as Gustav Leonhardt and Nikolaus Harnoncourt. A polymath as well as a musician, he has been heard many times by Budapest audiences and turns 80 on 2 May 2027. Three days later, he will take to the stage at Müpa Budapest at the head of his legendary choir, Collegium Vocale Gent (active since 1970), and the Orchestre des Champs-Élysées (which he also founded in 1991), to mark the auspicious occasion with Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto and Mass in C minor. The members of the world-famous vocal quartet – Regula Mühlemann, Eva Zaïcik, Werner Güra and Thomas Bauer – are outstanding exponents of the style, while Nicola Boud, who will perform the solo part in the concerto, is an internationally renowned star when it comes to playing the clarinet in keeping with traditions though the centuries.
