Platinum level members of the Müpa+ membership programme can buy tickets for the event on 29 September from 10 am, at the Gold level on 30 September from 10 am, and at the Silver level on 1 October from 10 am. Basic level members, as well as members of the general public will get the opportunity to purchase tickets from 10 am on 2 October.

The next event in Müpa Budapest’s Poetry Recitals series focuses on one of the most defining intellectual and personal alliances of 20th-century Hungarian literature, as the oeuvres of Balázs Lengyel and Ágnes Nemes Nagy meet on stage. Their shared story stands as one of the best-defined points of orientation in Hungarian culture, a place where the strict formal discipline of poetry, the power of rhythm and the clear-sightedness of the essayist-critic lived side by side, each productively complementing the other. Built on the coordinated rhythm of lyrical texts, prose excerpts and contemporary documents, the programme not only evokes the dialogue between two outstanding authors, but also the sustaining power of artistic discipline and shared thinking. An on-stage encounter with one of the most intense and radiant relationships in the history of Hungarian literature.

The Müpa Budapest underground garage gates will be operated by an automatic number plate recognition system.
