Rising Stars

8-10 November 2024

On the second weekend of November, in the Festival Theatre, we will once again get the chance to meet Europe’s ‘rising stars’, representing the kind of novelty – in this case including young, talented and boldly experimental performing artists bringing imaginative and engagingly compiled programmes – that the receptive Müpa Budapest audience have grown accustomed to. This series launched by the European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO) presents the stars of the not-so-distant future – this year a French/Dutch violist, a Portuguese clarinettist, a British trumpeter, a French string quartet, a Luxembourgish cellist and an Austrian pianist – for whom renowned female composers have created new musical works, four of which will be receiving their world premieres here at Müpa Budapest.
