The Met: Live in HD at Palace of Arts 2010/2011

The repertory of the 2010/2011 season comprises 11 performances - Das Rheingold, Boris Godunov, Don Pasquale, Don Carlos, La fanciulla del West, Iphigenia in Tauris, Lucia di Lammermoor, Le comte Ory, Capriccio, Il trovatore, Die Walküre – with the usual selection of world-famous opera stars and top conductors.

Experience Photo Receives Audience’s Award

A three-member committee counted the audience votes cast for works of the photo exhibition Experience! In all respects, held on occasion of the fifth birthday of the Palace of Arts, on April 21, 2010. Considering both online and on spot votes, the audience’s award went to Nikolett Bóta for her work “Rails” (Rács).

Anne-Sophie Mutter Earns Brahms Award

Anne-Sophie Mutter has been chosen as the awardee of the Brahms Society of Schleswig-Holstein. This year, the award worth ten thousand Euros is to be presented to the research group of Christian Albrechts University of Kiel preparing the critical summary edition of the works of Brahms, while the 2011 award is to go to the lady violinist.
