Though the pianist and songwriter Zsigmond Gerlóczy has not yet turned 30, his work as both a performer and producer has already caught the attention of musicians of the calibre of Tigran Hamasyan, Jacob Collier and Keith Jarrett, his all-time role model. In 2024 in Los Angeles, Gerlóczy recorded Future Sounds, an album of richly instrumentalised vocal, world music, Baroque and pop music that featured several Grammy-winning artists, including the producer Taylor Graves (Thundercat, Kimbra), pianist Ruslan Sirota, drummer Charles Haynes, and the celebrated French guitarist Antoine Boyer, who has achieved fame throughout Europe. On this evening, Zsigmond and Antoine will take the stage together for the first time to present a series of compositions that the pair have written together over the last few years. They will perform all of the material from Future Sounds, while we can also expect some brand new songs, too.
