The Literarium audience will once again experience a ground-breaking and exciting performance, this time constructed from excerpts of five short stories and two novels by Nobel Prize-winning author László Krasznahorkai. Its central theme is the writer’s long-standing dilemma: art and the solitary nature of its consumption. By alternating between inner and outer perspectives, the production reveals that even within Krasznahorkai’s monologic, uncompromising depictions, polyphony can still emerge with the inherent playfulness of the texts amplified. This performance will be truly unique, as it presents the world-famous author’s oeuvre from a distinctive viewpoint through the powerful combination of his devastating texts with striking visual elements, complete with musical effects and distortion.
