“In his works, truth blends into the unknown, daily drudgery and myths coincide, reality meets the surreal. He creates words in which this duality – reality and the surreal - remain unseparated, one flowing freely into the other,” writes Ákos Győrffy of the prose of Árpád Kun. Kun, who has lived in Norway for 18 years and worked as an assistant nurse and a male cleaner, has written books of the calibre of Esőkönyv (Rain Book), Boldog Észak (Happy North) and Takarító férfi (Cleaning Man). His human and literary experiences are sure to captivate the fortunate members of the audience. An unmissable, unique occasion.
