Platinum level members of the Müpa+ membership programme can buy tickets for the event on 29 September from 10 am, at the Gold level on 30 September from 10 am, and at the Silver level on 1 October from 10 am. Basic level members, as well as members of the general public will get the opportunity to purchase tickets from 10 am on 2 October.
Sona Jobarteh, of Gambian descent but born in England, is the first female star of the kora, a 21-stringed instrument reminiscent of a harp. According to the influential world-music magazine Songlines, she is responsible for one of the ten finest kora albums ever released. She hails from one of the most significant musical families in the centuries-old Mandinka griot tradition as the granddaughter of Amadu Bansang Jobarteh, the niece of Dawda Jobarteh and the cousin of Toumani Diabaté. Born in 1983, she is not only an established songwriter and kora virtuoso, but also an outstanding singer. While having released four albums to date, she may also be familiar from film scores, as well as collaborations with artists like Damon Albarn, Ballaké Sissoko amd LL Cool J. Her star has risen considerably since her first concert at Müpa Budapest in 2018. Also known as an education activist, she brings a modern sound to both her passionate and energetic songs, as well as those that are more peaceful and hypnotic.

The Müpa Budapest underground garage gates will be operated by an automatic number plate recognition system.
