The collaboration between the Soharóza Choir and iamyank is a powerful example of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts. On this evening, these renowned experimental artists will explore the relationship between the human voice and technology – and how the rapid advance of innovation is permeating and reshaping our daily lives. Humanity’s relationship with this new world is still to be fully mapped out. Every sound in this concert — even seemingly non-human electronic noises – is born from the singers’ own voices, creating effects that are at times uplifting, at others unsettling. By the end of the performance, each member of the audience can decide for themselves what is still human, and what already extends beyond our boundaries.
