Platinum level members of the Müpa+ membership programme can buy tickets for the event on 29 September from 10 am, at the Gold level on 30 September from 10 am, and at the Silver level on 1 October from 10 am. Basic level members, as well as members of the general public will get the opportunity to purchase tickets from 10 am on 2 October.

The German Robert Henke is a pioneer of electronic music, a founding father of dub techno as one half of Monolake, and one of the creators of the hugely influential music software Ableton Live. In his solo performances, he generally creates spectacular audiovisual musical installations, the latest of which – FIRST LIGHT, commissioned by London’s Barbican – the Müpa Budapest audience will be among the first to see and hear. Dedicated to the female astronomers, astrophysicists and engineers who have contributed so greatly to our knowledge of the universe, the work uses lasers, strobe lights, smoke and an immersive sound that envelopes the audience to create a “soundscape” of the universe in the form of the images first captured by a new telescope (what is termed “first light” in astrophysics). Born on the boundary between science and art, this unique project sees the artist directing the composition from within the auditorium but not from the stage, so that his perspective reflects that of the audience.

In order to avoid this, we recommend that you depart for our events in time, so that you you can find the ideal parking spot quickly and smoothly and arrive for our performance in comfort. The Müpa Budapest underground garage gates will be operated by an automatic number plate recognition system.
