The Lajtha House Cultural Centre in Bicske opened its doors early this year. The institution places special focus on the folk music collections of the pivotal 20th-century composer László Lajtha, which served as the most important sources for the dance house movement. These efforts will be the subject of this year's iteration of Müpa Budapest's concert series World-Wide, held each year since 2013, to be kicked off with a chat between programme curator Endre Liber and cimbalom player Kálmán... Balogh, along with Mihály Borbély, Dávid Deák-Volom and László Kiss Gy., about Lajtha's life and intellectual legacy.
FELHANGOLVA!
The concert takes place as part of the Felhangolva! programme supported by the MOL New Europe Foundation.
