Authentic reggae from strictly natural sources, free from any artificial additives. Hungary's iconic reggae band invites the audience on an extraordinary musical journey with a selection of songs from the past three decades. The group will play their own compositions and hits from Jamaica on the analogue instruments that defined the music of the 60s and 70s, as well as evoking the legendary performers and sounds of the 80s on their own instruments. The evening will also take the form of a trip through reggae history from early rocksteady through ska and roots reggae to early dancehall. Along the way, the band will present various sub-genres and their development - all in the name of pure entertainment. Alongside a programme exploring the legacy of Ladánybene 27, we will hear the genuine sounds of reggae from the 60s, 70s and 80s with the help of invited guests and a sound system put together especially for this evening - and drawing on the unique properties of the Müpa building. The audience will also be treated to several rarely performed LB27 classics and songs especially arranged for this one-off event.
