Platinum level members of the Müpa+ membership programme can buy tickets for the event on 29 September from 10 am, at the Gold level on 30 September from 10 am, and at the Silver level on 1 October from 10 am. Basic level members, as well as members of the general public will get the opportunity to purchase tickets from 10 am on 2 October.

Orsi Kozma – the star of Cotton Club Singers and Jazz+Az, who has also built an impressive solo career – and her quartet take us back to the world of cabaret and late-night bars. This was the era in which jazz, which had just exploded across the ocean, pollinated music-hall stages dominated by bold couplets and chansons written by Hungary’s greatest poets. The heart of Pest was filled with nightclubs, led by Endre Nagy’s cabaret, at a time when the aristocracy of Europe, including the Prince of Wales, came to Budapest for entertainment. From the tiniest stages to the Arizona Nightclub, there was no shortage of options to choose from. Orsi Kozma and her band explore these venues in the course of a single intoxicating evening, recalling not only the nightspots of a forgotted era, but also their successors, the Savoy Bar, Maxim Varieté, and the Moulin Rouge in Pest. Helping to bring the atmosphere of the time to life will be the Kossuth and Jászai Mari Prize-winning actress, Eszter Csákányi.
