The death of Kátya Tompos shook an entire nation of art lovers, and has left a deep hole in our hearts that can never be filled. Her family and close friends recently came together to establish the Kátya Tompos Foundation, which will turn the actress and singer’s dreams of helping those in need into reality, while also preserving and furthering her legacy. As we near Kátya Tompos’s birthday, this tribute evening, which the foundation hopes will become a regular event, is the first stop on this journey, and will also see the Kátya Tompos Award presented for the first time. The proceeds of the concert will – in accordance with the wishes of Kátya Tompos – be spent on helping those suffering from conditions similar to her own, while additional donations can be made by visiting www.tomposkatyaalapitvany.hu.
