There are times when it is not silence that makes us recall something, but music. A familiar sound. A melody that takes you home. On All Souls' Day, we think not only of those who are no longer with us, but also of what they left us with: stories, scents, sentences, sounds. This is what this evening is all about. A concert where every moment is a quiet glimpse back in time. On stage will be Roby Lakatos, Kálmán Nyári, Tamás Berki, Gabi Szűcs, Geri Oláh, Sándor Nagy, Roland Finucci Balogh, along with the Hot Jazz Band, the Mynk Quartet, and Tamás Szakál from Canarro – all of whom, albeit in different tones, represent the same feeling: communal remembrance. Because remembrance is not always quiet – sometimes it plays swing, at others it sways to jazz, sighs on the clarinet or prays on the violin... after closing time.
