After working together regularly for a year, this quartet has already appeared in a number of Budapest jazz clubs. Their first major début took place in 2014, at Müpa Budapest's tenth anniversary concert series. Kálmán Oláh Jr. started out by following in his father's footsteps and studied piano, but then later took up the saxophone at age 12. A student at the jazz faculty of the Béla Bartók High School of Music since 2011, he has taken the stage a number of times together with his brother Krisztián Oláh, including at the Debrecen Jazz Festival. The quartet feels most at home playing in the post-bop style.
