It was thirteen years ago that Jamie Winchester and Róbert Hrutka came up with the idea of presenting their songs with symphonic accompaniment, and in 2004 they gave the first Wood & Strings concert. It was so enthusiastically received by the audience that the band went on to use its material for their third album. Since then, the songs have been played at the Müpa Budapest on many occasions, and each evening proved special for both the audience and the musicians.
In 2008 the band members decided to part ways, and work on their carriers separately, but now, giving in to popular pressure, reunite and join forces with the Mendelssohn Chamber Orchestra to stage this special production again, nine years after their last concert.
