Considered one of the most unusual, inventive and fascinating young jazz musicians, the 23-year-old Jacob Collier draws inspiration from a variety of sources: his music blends a wide range of music, from jazz, groove and folk, though trip-hop, classical and Brazilian music, to gospel, soul and improvisation. The Guardian called him the "new Messiah of jazz,” while Jazzwise deemed him the "future of music.”
His Youtube channel has over a hundred thousand followers, his videos have been viewed millions of times. His devotees include Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny, Jamie Cullum and David Crosby, among other celebrities.
To his first show in Hungary he brings the multimedia solo production he jointly developed in the past year with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston.
