The 10-year birthday programme could not fail to include children, who from the very start have made up a particularly important – and, in terms of their numbers, very sizeable – portion of the audience at the Palace of Arts. Members of this generation will also be represented on stage at this celebratory concert – as soloists or as members of a chorus of 10-year-olds or an orchestra made up of pupils of Budapest conservatories.
