Bojti is an average little boy, Tücsök an everyday little girl. Or perhaps not? Everything begins in a playground, where the two friends have a terrible falling out over Bojti's new bicycle. Plenty of words are exchanged, before the toy suddenly grabs them and shoots them out into space. To somewhere beyond the Milky Way, where an extraordinary world awaits them. The same will happen to you at this performance of the Golden Donkey Puppet Theatre. If we want to get home safely, we will have to follow the Path of the Brave together!

Only travellers, discovers and adventurers need apply: Jankó Schneider, one of Hungary's most popular puppeteers, has designed some loveable puppets and also directs this play based on Judit Berg's hugely successful 2007 book. The puppets are ably supported by animations from the illusionist Dániel Rafael Zubán that blend seamlessly into the performance. Tünde Strausz has also written some songs for the original story that can be easily committed to memory. The plot follows the classical logic of fairy-tales as our engaging heroes encounter strange people time and again. They will only later be able to ask for assistance, but first they must find themselves in some tricky situations. Because on the Path of the Brave, you are definitely going to need some help. You cannot defeat the Sand Monster alone, or understand why the stone man is so sad and why the Spice Gnomes are afraid of the Bumfords. Nor can you solve the mysteries of the Upside Down Land. As you travel beyond the Milky Way, you will find an authentic tale about patience and acceptance, respect for other people and the importance of helping those in need.
