Performance of the Kabóca Puppet Theatre of Veszprém
In a magnificent turreted palace lives a childless royal couple. After a long, sad wait, their first child, a beautiful princess, is born… Besides Sleeping Beauty, the performance also assigns an important role to Zsuzsi the Witch, who attempts to control and influence events. It emerges that even doing wicked things is not easy, and that people can unintentionally make mistakes which are difficult to put right. The story of Sleeping Beauty comes to life with the words of Aliz Mosonyi, written in a modern yet still fairytale language spiced with humour, and accompanied by the unusual-sounding songs of Erzsi Kiss.
