Literarium Junior
Why should you read contemporary literature and what for?
22 January 2020 Wednesday
10 am - 11 am
Banner Square

Featuring:

Gábor Schein
student actor Áron Darvasi

As both a noted writer of literature and a literature historian, Gábor Schein is simultaneously a first class, cutting-edge author and a knowledgeable interpreter of contemporary literature.

Given Schein's coexistence as both writer and perceiver, there is surely no better person to help us find our way in today's jungle of Hungarian literature, draw the attention of keen young readers to important books and heighten their interest in both Hungarian literature's recent past and its most up-to-date values and developments. During the morning, however, Schein will not only strive to present the most outstanding authors and significant works of the present day and make reading recommendations, he will also likely share his thoughts with the students about the benefits of reading and what reading contemporary literature and personal encounters with artists can bring to your life and the knowledge of self.
