Who doesn't know the Brothers Grimm fairytale of Hansel and Gretel? The resourceful siblings outwit a witch with a speciality for kidnapping children and turning them into gingerbread. Not only do they escape themselves, but they also rescue other, earlier victims of her evil spell. The story has been reworked many times in many different ways. Now the Mini Matinée audience is invited to enjoy the BonBon Matiné Group perform a version by highly versatile young composer Ilona Meskó. The story, told by Győző Lukácsházi, is spiced with plenty of humour in perfect timing with five excellent musicians playing a total of 15 instruments.
