Take four chords, string them together, and the satisfaction of your audience is guaranteed. The recipe couldn’t be simpler, right? Or, perhaps, it’s a bit more complicated? This is what we will find out on this special occasion that will get the audience involved as they learn how the biggest pop hits relate to Pachelbel or Mozart, and whether it is possible to beatbox to opera. And whether it is permissible to listen to classical music with a ‘light’ ear. Our expert musicians say the answer is a resounding yes. During this educational adventure featuring both music and discussion, we will glide between eras, styles, genres, instruments – between classical and contemporary music with effortless elegance.
