Ágnes Enyedi's children's programme
19 November 2017 Sunday
11 am - 12 pm
Atrium
World-Wide

Joining Junior Prima Award-winning singer Ágnes Enyedi on the stage to entertain the children will be cimbalomist Tamás Enyedi and double bassist Máté Tóth, along with the musicians of the Buda Folk Band: recorder-player Soma Salamon, violinist Andor Maruzsenszki and violist Márton Éri. As a young girl, the singer would spend her summers with her Transylvanian grandparents in Bonchida (Bonțida), where her talent even then attracted the attention of the ethnological researcher and folk music collector Zoltán Kallós, who lived nearby. One of the finest performers from the new generation of folk musicians, Enyedi is constantly giving concerts both in Hungary and abroad, and also teaches. Because she knows as well as anyone how receptive children are to good music, she places the utmost importance on quality. With programmes offering a true family experience, adults always find themselves just as captivated by her convincing performance style and the virtuosity of the musicians joining her.
