Recirquel was founded in 2012 as Hungary’s first ever cirque nouveau ensemble. From the very beginning, Recirquel’s productions have created a new form of expression and been shaped in cooperation with Müpa Budapest, with shows performed on the Festival Theatre stage or in a tent adjacent to the building. A programme series celebrating the 20th anniversary of Müpa Budapest could never be complete without Recirquel. The circus company will celebrate Müpa’s birthday with a unique show featuring a selection taken from earlier performances.
