Feminine soul, masculine power, passion and happiness, faith and love of homeland - these are the feelings that have inspired the works of Kossuth Prize-winner Zoltán Zsuráfszky and his wife, Artist of Merit Zsuzsa Zs. Vincze, over recent decades. Now they have thematically selected some of their choreographies to present together with their company, the Hungarian National Dance Ensemble.

Zoltán Zsuráfszky and Zsuzsa Zs. Vincze are artists who have reconceived entire artistic genres into the language of folk dance. Dreaming up a new world is a lofty but divisive task. Nevertheless, their belief and love in each other and shared passion for folk dance are an unflagging source of inspiration for both of them. Their show SZRLM is an expression of gratitude both to each other and to the many viewers who have come to watch their outstanding dance ensemble over the years - and they'll be showing their appreciation with their choreographies inspired by the literary works of Endre Ady, János Arany, Attila József and Zsigmond Móricz - and last but not least by paying tribute to the limitless richness of Hungary's folk culture.
