Wagner

Das Rheingold - A music drama in four scenes (German-language performance, with projected subtitles in Hungarian)

The Wagner in Budapest Festival has generated enormous interest over the years, and rightly so, as year after year the legend of the accursed golden Ring comes to life within the wonderful acoustic surroundings of the Béla Bartók National Concert Hall. With the cooperation of internationally acclaimed singers and with direction and set design by Hartmut Schörghofer, the festival all takes place under the artistic direction of Ádám Fischer, a musician who speaks the language of Wagner like a mother tongue.
