A Liszt and Prima Prize-winning organist and victor at the most prestigious international music competitions, László Fassang has lent his expertise to overseeing the construction of the Müpa organ and compiles its organ music programme (including this special marathon series). He has chosen to perform Bach's trio sonatas, a typically Baroque genre of chamber music for two melodic instruments and basso continuo. It was reconceived for organ by Bach, utilising the possibilities offered by two hands and feet.
Additional programmes will spice up the event in the Glass Hall and the Foyer; for example, the Bach Café and Bach Organ-workshop.
