Shostakovich
The Nose - in Russian, with Hungarian subtitles
Sitting down for his breakfast, the barber finds a nose in his roll. Meanwhile, the desperate owner of the lost organ sets about to find it. In the end, he finds it in the Kazan Cathedral, but the nose refuses to move back to the face originally destined to it. A few weeks after its Vienna premiere, the Budapest audience can also marvel at Shostakovich's lavish operatic satire.
The performance is recommended to persons over the age of 16.
