Works by Marchand, Bach, Mozart, Liszt, Florentz, Duruflé Curiosities from organ history, anecdotes about famous organists over the centuries, spiced with the most remarkable music. What legends surround the creation of each organ piece, what influenced the composers when writing different works? Who and for what occasion were organ pieces commissioned and to what degree did the construction of an organ, the number of its pipes and registers, motivate or hinder composers? There are many publications worldwide in which we find answers to these very questions … Our audience will be treated to letters, contemporary criticisms, travel journals and diaries, disclosing an unexpectedly colourful world. The anecdotes illustrated with live music and the description of documents is a rare undertaking, a novelty for performers and a remarkable experience for the audience.
