Platinum level members of the Müpa+ membership programme can buy tickets for the event on 29 September from 10 am, at the Gold level on 30 September from 10 am, and at the Silver level on 1 October from 10 am. Basic level members, as well as members of the general public will get the opportunity to purchase tickets from 10 am on 2 October.

With an open book in hand, we wind down together in the Festival Theatre – the third stop of the #olvasniszabad series at Müpa Budapest will shift from a shared sense of tranquility into the world of music and literature. Bring your reading material, settle into the beanbags placed on the stage, and see what it feels like to switch off with others, in silence. In the company of special guest Péter Závada, we explore, among other things, where poetry meets song lyrics – when a written thought becomes a rhythm, and how lines committed to paper gain new life when spoken through a microphone. At the Felefánt concert that follows the conversation, the intellectual quality of literature dovetails with the energy of a live band. A multifaceted yet direct communal experience that promises to cast an entirely new light on contemporary texts.

The Müpa Budapest underground garage gates will be operated by an automatic number plate recognition system.
