The performers here have travelled the country for more than 15 years now with their evening devoted to the poet Attila József. As Tamás Jordán says in his introduction, this is essentially a dialogue between audience and performers - even if the audience (presumably) says nothing.
Jordán, Ferenc Sebő and their musical colleagues interpret the thoughts of Attila József in prose and song, in an ambience that is entirely unusual for staged poetry events. In contrast to a mere ‘recital', the mostly subdued and intimate tone gives the listener the sense of being addressed in person.
Those attending are sure to be part of an unforgettable, cathartic theatrical experience.
