The work of Les Musiciens du Louvre is closely connected to the rediscovery of Baroque music in France. Over the years, the ensemble has become one of the most outstanding, inventive and original practitioners of the historically informed performance method, achieving great international success in the interpretation of works by Handel, Purcell, Rameau, Haydn and Mozart. This concert in Budapest features two wonderful Bach cantatas, both of which were composed for Easter Sunday.
