Ever since its debut in Prague in 2014, the Bel Canto Gala has brought fond memories to audiences of many concert halls. The programme put together by the world-famous couple of German soprano and Italian bel canto devotee Diana Damrau and her husband, the French bass baritone Nicolas Testé, comprises arias from the operas of Rossini, Bellini, Donizetti, Verdi, Mascagni and Wagner. Highlights include Rosina's aria and La calunnia from The Barber of Seville, as well as excerpts from La traviata, Il trovatore and The Flying Dutchman.
This recording was made at a concert held at Müpa Budapest on 14 May 2016.

The performance will be broadcasted on our webpage, Facebook and Youtube channels.
