Star Wars - Main Title

There exist certain great and universally-known milestones of classical music that define our entire culture. It is legends like these that take centre stage at this traditional spring concert presented jointly by Klasszik Radio and the Danubia Orchestra.

When we hear the rhythm, we immediately know that Fate is knocking on Beethoven’s door, just as everyone starts nodding even from the very first bar of Eine kleine Nachtmusic, thinking, “This one I know”. But why exactly have these works become so popular, and how do these excerpts define our relationship with music in general? At the Classical Favourites concert, conductor Máté Hámori will also discuss the legends of music.

Presented by: Klasszik Rádió
