Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme, BWV 140
This series of concerts by the Budapest Strings is aimed primarily at the younger generation, presenting the works of Johann Sebastian Bach. The works will be presented by Dr. Salamon Kamp and performed by outstanding Hungarian soloists and the Lutherania Choir, the orchestra’s regular collaborator for many years. The concerts will take place in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, allowing the audience the chance to feel even closer to Bach’s art and time. The performances will be further coloured by images in addition to the words and music.
