Platinum level members of the Müpa+ membership programme can buy tickets for the event from 10 am on 6 May, Gold level members from 10 am on 7 May. Members of the Silver and Basic level, as well as the the general public will get the opportunity to purchase tickets from 10 am on 8 May.

Without ever knowing, the heroine of this Vincenzo Bellini opera performs death-defying feats at dizzying heights, while the singer tasked with portraying her is only too aware that hers is one of the bel canto repertoire’s most beautiful and risky roles. On this occasion, it will be Nadine Sierra demonstrating her virtuosity with a charm that is as insurmountable as it is fragile, while the director of the production to open the global season of MET HD broadcasts is Rolando Villazón, whose imagination shines through more than ever in response to this artistic challenge. The Müpa Budapest audience has had the opportunity to celebrate him on several occasions, and the same is true of the conductor of this splendid performance of The Sleepwalker, Riccardo Frizza.
The broadcast will be sung in the original language, and shown with Hungarian and English subtitles.
