Literarium – Contemporary Writers at Müpa Budapest
Featuring János Vázsonyi, Balázs Mihályfi, Csenge Szilágyi
Guest László Finta, Ádám Csillag

Gábor Németh's impressive body of work was catapulted into the public eye by his unsettling and provocative novel Are You a Jew?. At a stroke, the success of the book placed Németh among the elite of Hungarian literature, although he was already known as the author of several major film scripts and had earlier been employed as literary editor at Hungarian State Radio. He currently teaches at the University of Theatre and Film Arts. Besides the personality and writings of the author himself, the contribution of outstanding saxophonist János Vázsonyi will help ensure this May edition of Literarium lives long in the memory.
