Jazz Spring

4-6 May 2017

Three enchanting jazz divas, at three distinctly different stages of their respective careers, on the bill for this year’s Jazz Spring. The up-and-coming young hope, the silky voiced Kandace Springs moves on the borderlines of jazz classics, soul and pop with natural ease. A British singer with Jamaican roots, Zara McFarlane (already successful as both a performer and a composer at a young age) will showcase her unique charisma and highly original songs at her Budapest concert. In addition to these two singers, the refreshing jazz event in May will also see a performance from a singer who has been consistently on the top for decades: the concert by the unmistakeable, two-time Grammy Award winner Cassandra Wilson promises to be an unforgettable experience for lovers of the genre.
