A sip of Wagner

Take a sip of Wagner! During the Budapest Wagner Days, we strive to stimulate every emotion, so for the first time this year our visitors will be able to taste uniquely flavoured craft beer specialities, inspired by characters from the Ring. The limited run drinks with unique labels envisioned in collaboration with KARL Microbrewery may be purchased in the Müpa buffets. Additionally, all four beer types will also be available in 4-pack cartons.

Discover your favourite!

  • Siegfried – A strong brew, dark golden in colour, a pale double bock ale with character (7%)

  • Sieglinde – Made with sunflower honey and mint leaves, a top fermented pale ale (6.5%)

  • Freia – A ginger and apple wheat beer of Belgian character, with a fruity aroma (9%)

  • Mime – A characteristically bitter but fragrant, aromatic IPA, with honey and oat flakes (6.7%)

New Wagner DVD

The audience can finally get their hands on Matthias Oldag’s highly successful Tannhäuser production in DVD form, which they may enjoy with English, German and Hungarian subtitles. The two-disc version recorded in June 2018 may be purchased in Rózsavölgyi CD and Sheet Music Store, and it is also available to registered members of the Müpa+ membership programme in HD quality through the Müpa Budapest website with the aid of the code found inside the packaging. Among other things, the extras include interviews with the artists, as well as a making-of documentary.

Ideal as a gift, too!
