Holiday opening hours

We would like to inform our visitors that during the Christmas holiday the Palace of Arts building and the ticket office will be expecting visitors with changed opening hours.

Online ticket sales will of course be uninterrupted on this day as well.

1 November opening hours

The Palace of Arts and and the ticket office will be open from 10am until the end of the first interval on 1 November.

The Andrássy út, Allee and MOM Park ticket offices will be closed.

The Ludwig Museum, the Vince Book, the P’art Café, the Bohemian Restaurant and the CD Shop will be open as usual.

 

Online ticket sales will of course be uninterrupted on this day.

Palace of Arts’ Babel Nights short film contest with the theme Passion was won by Sándor Csoma’s film Ábel and Anna.

23 October opening hours

The Palace of Arts and all ticket offices will be closed on 23 October.

The Ludwig Museum, the Vince Book and the P’art Café will be open from 10 am until 8 pm.

The Bohemian Restaurant and the CD Shop will be closed as well.

Song recital of Jonas Kaufmann has been cancelled due to sudden illness

We regret to inform our audience that the management of Jonas Kaufmann has announced that due to a sudden illness the artist will have to withdraw from the song recital of 7th October 2014.

Tickets may be returned within a term of preclusion lasting 30 days (by 6th November 2014 latest), exclusively to the Palace of Arts permanent ticket offices (1095 Budapest IX., Komor Marcell u. 1.; 1061 Budapest VI., Andrássy út 28.).

Changes in Parking Options

Guest arriving to our shows by car are kindly informed that currently we can only provide a limited number of parking spaces for the duration of shows, solely up to the capacity of the underground garage. Parking may take longer than usual due to the changes in outdoor parking circumstances, therefore, we would like to ask you to arrive in due time, and recommend using means of community transport instead of your car, if possible.

The Palace of Arts will continue to provide free of charge parking in the building’s underground garage to visitors who have tickets to our shows, for the duration of performances, and subject to capacity limitations.

Thank you for hanging out at Sziget with Müpa!

More than 500 Islanders hung out with us on the installation set up at the Sziget Fesztivál’s Cirque du Sziget location in five days. Hungarians and foreigners, boys and girls, young and old all enjoyed the view of the festival from a height of nearly 8 meters.
