Changes in Metropolitan broadcasts

The Metropolitan Opera has officially announced that the opera by John Adams (The Death of Klinghoffer) scheduled for 15 November 2014 has been removed from the Met’s 2014/15 Live in HD Season Schedule.
It is replaced by Rossini’s comic opera Il Barbiere di Siviglia, which will be presented a week later than the original date, at 6:55 pm on 22 November 2014, with Isabel Leonard, Lawrence Brownlee and Christopher Maltman in the leading roles.

Ticket holders who wish to see the new show on the modified date can exchange their tickets for The Death of Klinghoffer to Il Barbiere di Siviglia at the same price and for the same seats. The original tickets can be exchanged at our ticket offices during any visit to the Palace of Arts, but no later than 15 November 2014.
If you are not interested to see the new production, you can have your original tickets refunded at any Palace of Arts ticket office until 15 November.

Tickets to the Festival Theatre and the Auditorium for the 22 November 2014 broadcast of Il Barbiere di Siviglia can be purchased for HUF 4,100 and HUF 2,500 respectively.

Please note that there is another change in schedule: the live broadcast of Bizet’s Carmen on 1 November will start at 5:55 pm instead of the originally announced 6:55 pm.
