Information on obtaining refunds for tickets purchased for performances organised by Müpa Budapest

We wish to inform our customers that the price of tickets purchased on the mupa.hu website for cancelled performances organised by Müpa Budapest that had been scheduled to take place on or before 31 March 2020 will be automatically refunded to the bank card used in the original transaction.

If you purchased your ticket by some other means – such as through a different online platform, in person at Müpa Budapest or in a ticket office – please visit the interface we have created specifically for this purpose, where by filling out and sending the required information, you consent to have the price of the ticket(s) transferred to the bank account you have indicated.

We inform our guests that due to technical issues, tickets purchased for performances in April, May, June and July organized by Müpa Budapest can be refunden only through this this interface.

We have developed a special interface to provide refunds for season ticket productions that have been cancelled this year.

In the case of performances organised by other organisers, we kindly ask ticket-purchasers to contact the organiser of the given production for information about compensation.

We kindly urge our customers to seek refunds for cancelled tickets according to the procedures outlined above. In the event that you nevertheless wish to arrange a refund in person, we recommend that you do so within 30 days of the end of the state emergency announced by the Hungarian government.
