Awards on the Fifth Birthday of the Palace of Arts

At the birthday gala concert of the Palace of Arts, Minister of Education and Culture dr. István Hiller presented several officials of the institution with high-ranking awards.
General Manager Imre Kiss was awarded with the title Ambassador of Hungarian Culture.
Acting on behalf of President of the Republic László Sólyom, Dr Hiller granted the Knight Cross of the Order of Merit of the Hungarian Republic to Deputy General Manager András Csonka.
Crosses of Merit of the Hungarian Republic, Gold Grade, were presented to Informatics Team Leader Lajos Balázs, Chief Accountant Tamás Farkas, Head of the General Manager’s Secretariat Lászlóné Juhász, Deputy Organisational Manager István Sörös, Managing Director of Müpa Üzemeltető Kft, maintainer of the Palace of Arts, László Tódika, and Marketing and Communication Manager dr. Monika Turkovics.
Crosses of Merit of the Hungarian Republic, Silver Grade, were granted to Event Organiser Éva Darvas and Information Team Leader dr. Istvánné Meggyes.
Crosses of Merit of the Hungarian Republic, Bronze Grade, were given to Stage Manager Károly Eiler-Kiss, Gaffer Károly Györgyfalvai and stage manager Zsolt Mátyus.
