“The Metropolitan Opera at the Palace of Arts” broadcasts available from 14 April

“The Metropolitan Opera: Live in HD” – In Hungary, the Palace of Arts was the first to reach an agreement with the Metropolitan Opera back in 2008 to put on a series of live digital opera broadcasts which can be seen in several countries within Europe and overseas.  In the 2012/2013 season, the repertoire of the “The Metropolitan Opera at the Palace of Arts” series will be made up of 12 productions, for which tickets will be available to Müpa Card Holders from 13 April, and everyone else from 14 April 16:00.

The broadcasts will once again include interviews with the protagonists as well as behind-the-scenes footage. Productions are broadcast in the original language with Hungarian subtitles; interviews and reports during intermissions are shown in English.
