Every week over the last few years in Budapest, improvisation fanatics have been holding jams all around the city. These events have become a genre in themselves. At this special concert, the musicians of the French group Underground Canopy will take the stage alongside figures from the Budapest improvisational scene, including Dombeats and Mukunda Papp – who regularly perform with Jazzbois –, Fanni Zahár and Ádám Klausz. Underground Canopy began performing covers of Flying Lotus, Madlib és J Dilla in 2016. Since the release of their mini-album in 2020, they have been regarded as one of the most thrilling and remarkable groups in the world of French improvisational scene. Now, with their jazz-infused original hip-hop, they will take the Hungarian audience to stunning heights and depths.
